1. What StoryWeaver Is

StoryWeaver ("the Service") is an AI-powered interactive audiobook platform available at storyweaveradventures.com. Stories are generated in real-time by artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT-4o) and narrated by AI-generated voices (ElevenLabs). No human author writes the stories you experience.

2. Who Operates This

StoryWeaver is operated by Tom (ABN registered sole trader) based in Perth, Western Australia. Contact: hello@storyweaveradventures.com

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StoryWeaver. Some stories contain violence, horror, and mature themes. Parental discretion is advised for users under 18.

4. The Service

• Stories are AI-generated on demand. Each playthrough is unique and may vary in quality, length, and tone.
• We do not guarantee that stories will be free from errors, repetition, inconsistencies, or offensive content. AI systems are unpredictable by nature.
• Story content does not reflect the views, opinions, or endorsements of StoryWeaver or its operator.
• The Service may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, server issues, or third-party API outages (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Railway).

5. Purchases & Payments

• StoryWeaver offers optional paid unlocks (currently $4.99 AUD) for full narration access across all premium stories.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Purchases are one-time and non-recurring. No subscriptions.
• Purchase tokens are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data may remove your unlock. We are not responsible for lost access due to cleared browser data.

6. Refunds

If you're unhappy with your purchase, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. No questions asked. Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply regardless of this policy.

7. Your Content

• Custom choices you type into StoryWeaver are sent to OpenAI for story generation. Do not enter personal, sensitive, or confidential information.
• If you provide your own ElevenLabs API key, it is sent directly to ElevenLabs and is not stored on our servers beyond your active session.

8. Intellectual Property

• The StoryWeaver platform, design, and code are the property of the operator.
• AI-generated story content produced during your session is not claimed by us. You may screenshot, share, or discuss your playthroughs freely.
• You may not scrape, bulk-download, or systematically reproduce stories from the platform.

9. Prohibited Use

Don't use StoryWeaver to:

• Generate content that sexualises minors or promotes real-world violence against specific individuals
• Attempt to extract or reverse-engineer system prompts, API keys, or internal logic
• Abuse the free tier (automated bots, bulk session creation)
• Resell generated content as your own commercial product at scale

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, StoryWeaver is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
